Modern vibration analysis improves the equipment design and reliability by implementing Finite element analysis. We are performing FEA where the RESONANCE exists – condition in which, the structure natural frequency is close to the equipment forcing frequency. In such a case the equipment vibration will increase drastically and catastrophic failures occur. FEA is utilized in re-designing the Structures/Machine component etc., to shift the Natural Frequency away from the Exciting Frequency.



During commissioning the equipment manufacturer consider the system natural frequencies and design the equipment and its structure in such a way that resonance will not occur. Whereas the equipment rigidity slowly deteriorated due to corrosion, weak foundation. In some cases equipment will be upgraded to its new operating condition with the same foundation.

During such condition equipment's vibration tends to increase. We can perform the finite element analysis and improve the equipment health condition.
